St Vincent de Paúl Conference in St Agatha

FISH FRY DINNERS

DONATIONS AND VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

From February 26 to March 26 2010.

We need VOLUNTEERS
To fry the fish, to make tacos, to set, to serve to prepare the dinners to clean
and other things that can be done.
We will start setting up at 4:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. the latest. ???

WE ALSO NEED

DONATIONS * DONATIONS * DONATIONS
FISH RED SNAPER – CAT FISH – Tilapia –Flat 9” plates - Dessert plates – to go Containers with partition – forks, knives, napkins – LOTS OF sodas – water – sandwich bags –foil paper large roll – Canola Oil large container - hot sauce, tartar sauce in small packages – green beans cans Restaurant size – green salad – cabbage – Green and Red Salsa for fish tacos cabbages – desserts, desserts - tortillas - bread

WE ALSO ACCEPT HOMEMADE SALADS AND DESSERTS

Volunteers TO MAKE COPIES OF FLYERS, distribute flyers
to your neighbors or business in the area

IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WE NEED YOUR HELP

WE WILL HAVE SIGNING SHEET AFTER EACH MASS
FOR VOLUNTEERS AND DONATIONS.
Please, please, please sign in if you are donating perishable items or fish.

St. Vincent De Paul Ministry will like to GIVE THANKS to all of St. Agatha Parishioners for being so kind hearted by giving monetary contributions to this wonderful ministry.
 
Because of your contributions many people that have come knocking at the church have been able to pay their utility bills and part of their rent.  We were also able to buy a stove for a senior that he would have lost the Section 8 apartment without a stove in the unit and a refrigerator for a lady that was living in a shelter and found an apartment.  At that time no one had a stove or refrigerator.
 
Because of this problem I rented a space to put large items, most of the time when parishioners call with items I have no idea who needs the items, and when someone needs something we have no items available. 
 
And please if you or if you know of someone that needs items let me know.
 
I pray that you continue thinking of this ministry and that God reward you with all the blessings that he can give you.

Fish Fry: Thank You!!!

St. Vincent De Paul Conference at St. Agatha will like to thank all who participated in the FISH FRY FRIDAYS fundraiser during lent. TO All The VOLUNTEERS, TO all who DONATED, and especially to the CUSTOMERS.
I will like to give a special thank you for being there EVERY FRIDAY TO Margie Nickleberry without her guidance I would had gone crazy Thank you Margie, to Barbara Babarino for Frying fish, to Celest Chritien for being the Cashier, to Camerina Mora for helping from cooking to serving, to Carrie Jones for volunteering every Friday and running to the store at the last minute, to a beautiful young lady Allegra Charbonnet for being there for us and helping at anything we ask. To her grandmother Geraldine Moran for helping and donating every Friday that delicious Potatoes Salad
Thank you Herminio Zuniga, Sheryl Lombard, Marion Sadler, Norma McQueen, for frying fish. And donations.

To Rachael Flores for assisting as cashiers, to Hugo Mora, Ms. Alice Paul, Charlotte Richardson, Azalie Nickleberry, Ana Zuniga, Maria Diaz, Fernando Rodriguez and Dona Maria.and Victoria Silva for Donating and volunteering. And for all volunteers that came for one or two hours to help Thank you..

St. Vincent De Paul St. Agatha’s Conference will like to thank all the wonderful angels from St. Agatha and their friends who Adopted families, donated toys through the Angel Tree and help with financial support
You help took away the sadness of many parents of not knowing what to buy their children for Christmas and instead you gave them joy and hope for Christmas knowing that there is people in this world with good harts.
A child called me and thank me for the legos he received he was so happy he told me that is what he wanted. Many mother said thanks, I told them thank God that their prayers were answered.
This year we had 45 families that were adopted, of that there were 132 children, 21 single mothers and 1 single father.

GRACIAS, GRACIAS DE PARTE DE SAN VICENTE DE PAUL Y LA PARROQUIA DE SAN AGATHA
San Vicente De Paul St. Agatha Conference, le da las gracias a todo los Angeles Marabillosos de St. Agatha y sus amigos que adoptaron familias, donaron juguetes con los Angeles del Arbol y ayudaron financialmente.
Su ayuda quito la tristeza de muchos padres al no saber que darles a sus hijos el dia de Navidad, en cambio usted le dio gozo y esperanza sabiendo que hay personas en este mundo con Buenos corazones.
Un niño me llamo y dio gracias por los legos que recibio estaba muy feliz me dijo que eso era lo que queria.  Muchas madres dijeron Gracias, Les dije que den Gracias a Dios por responder a sus oraciones.
Este año tuvimos 45 familias que fueron adoptadas, entre ellos 132 fueron niños, 21 madres solteras, 1 padre soltero.
El Dia de Navidad tambien tomamos 120 fotografias a las familias con niños que vinieron a la Cena de Navidad.

LIKE AN ANGEL TO THE FAMILIES
You've Been Like an Angel to many families in the Parish. For He will give His angels charge of you to guard you in all your ways. Psalms 91:11.
You restore the faith and help the many families to enjoy this Christmas. We appreciate you for the wonderful person you are.
COMO UN ANGEL PARA LAS FAMILIAS
Usted ha sido como un angel para muchas familias de la Parroquia.  Porque él te encomendó a sus ángeles para que te cuiden en todos tus caminos. Salmo 91:11.  Usted enforso la fe y ayudo a muchas familias a disfrutar esta navidad.  Lo apreciamos por la persona maravillosa que es.
